 The Japanese government still Ensuring Safety 2 Japanese citizens abducted ISIS

Japanese government officials still can not ensure the safety of two Japanese citizens who believed held hostage by the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister Akitaka Saiki and their high officials of Japan Middle East and African affairs and senior officials responsible for the protection of Japanese nationals overseas, gathered at around 7am on Saturday (01/24/2015) in order to analyze information obtained so far related to Japanese citizens hostage.

Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida joined together in the emergency meeting. Later told reporters Kishida said that there is no new thing, and he has ordered officials to remain vigilant related to this issue.

In the video on the Internet, a person suspected members of the militant group threatened to kill two Japanese hostages unless Japan pay ransom within 72 hours. The deadline for payment has passed on Friday.

The Japanese government uses all lines including cooperation with Jordan, Turkey and other relevant countries, in order to seek the release of two Japanese citizens. But the Japanese government officials continue to struggle to ensure the safety of both.
